Just as expected, the second they crossed the edge of the native territory, their pursuers really did stop chasing. Guess even the locals figured messing with cannibals wasn't worth it.
It was already late at night. Normally, people would be asleep by now. But clearly their timing sucked-they'd walked right into some kind of ritual the cannibals were holding.
This tribe was completely cut off from the outside world, stuck in all kinds of outdated traditions. No one saw this coming-an actual ancient-style human sacrifice? Seriously?
A bunch of shirtless tribesmen were walking around with torches, their faces painted in bright patterns. They were chanting something, totally unintelligible.
In the middle of them was a tall pile of hay, with a wooden post in the center. Tied to the post was a young girl-blonde hair, fair skin, clearly not one of them. She was obviously white.
The girl was freaking out, shaking her head and yelling, "No! Don't burn me! I don't want to die, please don't eat
