Lydia had been walking ahead, but she suddenly turned back a couple of steps to check with Lilah, asking, "Your kid? You mean, your actual kid?"
"Yep, my biological son," Lilah replied, giving her a clear look that said she wasn't joking.
"No way... You're only twenty-two. Did you... have him at eighteen?" Lydia's eyes were wide with disbelief.
Lilah nodded again without hesitation.
Mrs. Mason also looked stunned, clearly having a hard time processing that.
