Since Lilah had already said that, Sandra couldn't really argue anymore.
As silence settled, Lilah could faintly hear some noise on the other end of the call.
It sounded like Gabriel's uncle and aunt—both seemed a bit worked up.
Lilah frowned slightly. Were they upset because she was appointed VP of Wallace Corp and went to complain to Sandra?
Sandra quickly changed the subject, "Haven't seen Aiden in a while. Bring him over to the old house when you have time."
"Sure, once Gabriel has a moment, we'll stop by," Lilah replied sweetly.
Sandra didn't say more and hung up.
Lilah stared at her phone for a few seconds before finally putting it down and heading off to get ready.
After washing up, she came downstairs to see Gabriel and Aiden waiting on the sofa.
They seriously looked like they were copied and pasted—one sitting with legs crossed and a cool expression, the other sitting cross-legged, all cute and chubby, playing with his toys.
