Damien stayed quiet, his gaze on his little sister full of that gentle, doting affection only an older brother can have.
"Aiden, were you peeking at my phone?" Gabriel quickly hid his phone and shot a look down at his son.
The little guy didn't say a word, just shot a timid glance at his mom.
"Stop picking on our kid already," Lilah raised an eyebrow, scooped Aiden out of Gabriel's arms, and cuddled him close.
Right then, Leon and Damien stood up.
"It's getting late—we should head out."
The moment Aiden heard that, he piped up, "Bye, Uncle Damien! Bye, Uncle Leon!"
Lilah couldn't help but smile at how sweet her son was.
"Alright, see you next time."
Leon and Damien both waved at the boy.
Gabriel stood up as well and walked with them a few steps toward the door.
After the two cars pulled away, the estate fell into a calm hush.
The nanny took Aiden off to get washed up, while Gabriel and Lilah stayed out in the courtyard.
