“Gabriel?” Lilah blinked, just to make sure she wasn’t seeing things.
She was currently in his arms, so luckily, she hadn’t hit the ground.
“If you wanted cherries, you could've asked someone to pick them for you,” Gabriel said, setting her down gently. “Why would you do something that risky?”
His voice was low, tinged with clear disapproval.
