Lilah raised an eyebrow. "Any tricky cases at the hospital lately?"
Damien paused for a beat before replying, "Not really. Just... haven’t seen you around much."
That made Lilah chuckle. "What, you actually miss me? Has Lydia Mason dropped by again?"
"Yeah." As expected, Damien seemed a little troubled at the mention of her. "She said she’s planning to stay in Banyan City for a while."
"Yeah, she bought an apartment here. But don’t worry, she’s busy preparing for a design competition. Probably won’t have much time to hang around the hospital."
Lydia used to show up at Oakridge every other day, practically giving Damien a headache.
Luckily, she had dialed it back lately, so at least he didn’t have to stress about it anymore.
"Anyway, enough about her. You coming by today?" Damien switched topics.
