"Something did happen at the old house recently." Gabriel Wallace got up to get some water, a slight frown on his face.
Lilah Hart stared at his back. "What happened?"
"One of the maids said Grandma lost a few things."
Gabriel poured two glasses of water, handed one to Lilah, and took a sip from his own.
"Come on, your parents are staying at our place now. Isn’t it obvious who might’ve done it?"
