Chapter 107
Aidan stared at Eliana, who was held back by his bodyguard. After several moments, Aidan clenched his fist and said, "Dead, they're all dead."
Eliana broke down and shrieked heart-wrenchingly. Her voice was sharp and sorrowful. "Aidan, what did my father and brother do to you? This grudge, it's between you and me. Why did you have to drag my family into this? Why did you have to kill my whole family? Why? Why?"
Aidan stepped forward, pulled Eliana away from the bodyguards, and pressed her against the wall. "All of you, out."
The bodyguards left.
Aidan stared at Eliana and spat out these words, "They were killed by you. Your brother's death was caused by you. Your father died because of your brother. So in the end, it was you who caused this, and you're the one to blame. What right do you have to ask me why? What right do you have to hurt Laura, huh?"
Eliana felt as if someone had stabbed her heart with innumerable knives. She was in so much pain that she couldn't breathe.
She was the apple of her father's eye, and he had doted on her for her whole life.
But she didn't even have the chance to say goodbye to her father.
She didn't have the chance to tell him how much she loved him. And, she didn't have the chance to tell him that she'd still be his daughter in the next life.
She was extremely remorseful. It felt as if someone had ripped her heart into shreds. It hurt so bad she couldn't breathe.
She sobbed and clutched her chest where her heart was. All of a sudden, she spat out a mouthful of blood.
Aidan panicked, and he quickly loosened his grip on her collar.
Eliana's leaned her back against the wall, struggling to stay upright. She took a few deep breaths and glared at Aidan.
Aidan's mother had woken up. Soon, he would know the truth.
Then, Aidan would know how foolish he was.
He was the dumbest man on earth.
Watching as she slid to the ground, Aidan reached out to help her up, but Eliana swatted his hand away.
Aidan's filthy hands didn't deserve to touch her.
She gritted her teeth and tried her best not to cough out blood again. Her stare was sharper than the deadliest knife on earth. "Aidan, you will suffer before you die. I, Eliana Harvey, swear to God that I will never forgive you! Never!"
Robert dashed in, "Master Aidan... The hospital just called. They said Miss Collins... isn't going to make it."
The corners of Eliana's lips curled up into a smile. At last, she had managed to drag that woman into the depths of hell.
Good. Very good.
"Evan, I've avenged you," Eliana thought.
Aidan turned around and walked out quickly, "Ask the bodyguards to watch her."
Eliana saw him walking to the door, and there were no bodyguards in her room to stop her.
She used her last bit of strength and rushed to the closet.
Hearing her footsteps, Aidan turned back immediately.
Although he didn't know what she intended to do, he knew that she was up to no good.
Feeling a little uneasy, he quickly chased after her. Unfortunately, he was too late.
He watched as Eliana smashed her head into the mirror right in front of his eyes...
The mirror shattered and Eliana's head started bleeding profusely. She staggered backwards and collapsed to the ground.
Aidan let out a roar, "Eliana..."
He quickly reached out to catch her. Then, he carried her in his arms and ran out.
Seeing Eliana covered in blood, Robert was shocked. He stuttered while instructing someone to get the car ready.
As Aidan ran, he said to her in an urgent voice, "Eliana, hold on. You must hold on..."
The corners of Eliana's lips curved into a smile as beautiful as a flower.
"You... can't... you can't... control me any longer. I never want to... want to see... you again..."
