"Oli, you're awake." Caleb gazed at Olivia, who was leaning against the head of the bed with an emotionless expression on her face. "Does anywhere hurt?" he asked, worried. The doctor said that Olivia's body had shut itself down as a last ditch form of protection after going through immense shock. There wasn't any illness or disease involved. But Caleb was still worried, seeing how dazed Olivia was. He was about to press the button to call the doctor over when she spoke. "Caleb," Olivia said. She exhaled deeply before slowly emerging from the terrifying flashbacks of what had happened. Olivia forced a smile on her face when she saw how worried Caleb looked. "I'm okay. You don't need to call the doctor." Caleb didn't believe her, but Olivia was insistent. In the end, Caleb could only give up out of fear of overwhelming Olivia again.
