Olivia gave a wry smile. She was certain that Tristan wouldn't sound so kind if he knew she had just seen him as a danger. Anyway, nothing now would make a difference. What mattered was that Renee did not carry today's terrifying experience with her. Keeping that in mind, Olivia said, "Please make sure Ren is completely okay." Tristan nodded. They soon arrived at the base of the mountain. Olivia stepped out of the vehicle first. "I've asked someone to pick me up. And… I'm really sorry about today." Renee remained in Tristan's arms, her eyes still red from crying. Seeing her like that made the weight of Olivia's guilt sink even deeper. Tristan shook his head. He had to admit that he had gone too far in many things before. Even though he hadn't said anything hurtful, he had still caused her pain as a bystander. That was why Olivia was so cautious around him now. He was the one who should apologize. After all, it was his actions that had set everything in motion. "Kids forget thin
