A moment later, Dorothy Howard walked in. When she saw Luke Miller, her eyes showed a brief hint of surprise.
It had been a long time since she'd last seen him, and for a second, it felt almost like years had passed.
“What’s the matter?” Luke asked, his tone indifferent.
Dorothy snapped back to reality and quickly collected herself. “Mr. Miller, is your health better now?”
“Yeah,” he replied casually.
He was seated by the floor-to-ceiling window, bathed in golden sunlight streaming in. The warm rays seemed to wrap around him, creating an enchanting glow. Sitting there, he looked almost like a prince surrounded by light—chilly, refined, and unapproachable.
“Mr. Miller, actually, I wanted to ask about the decision to end the partnership with StarSpark Electronics. I hadn’t heard anything before—why was the collaboration suddenly terminated?”
