Chapter 370
"Alright, I’ll follow your lead!"
Sophia Taylor leaned forward and started eating as well.
When the night grew quiet, Clara Bennett figured it was about time.
Suddenly, she used her bare hands and pried the sturdy wooden cage open.
Everyone nearby froze, staring at her in shock.
First, it was unbelievable that someone could actually break a cage open. Sure, it was made of wood, but the wood was absurdly tough. Plus, the people here were usually starving and too weak to even try.
Second, no one had the guts. If anyone got caught attempting something like this, death was the only outcome.
After opening her cage, Clara swam over and did the same for Sophia’s.
"Clara!" Sophia threw her arms around Clara.
"Sophia, listen. Right now, it’s around 3 a.m. Most people should be asleep. This is our best chance to escape. Aaron Hill is outside. He’s here to assist, and I’ve already sent him the message."
"Sent a message?" Sophia was puzzled.
Everyone who came to this place was thoroughly searched.
