"That's right, ma'am."
"Mom, now that Nicholas is doing better, isn't that great news? Let's bring him home already!" Henry Evans walked in just then.
"Henry, what are you talking about!"
"Mom, I know you've never really liked Nicholas, but he's still my brother — your own son — and he's part of this family."
"You're just too naive!" Eleanor Rivera shot a sharp look at her younger son.
"What do you mean naive?" Patrick Evans walked in right on cue from work.
Eleanor glanced over at him, clearly annoyed.
"Oh, look who actually remembered to come home."
"I dropped by to see you, came straight from the office," Patrick said casually. "What were you all talking about?"
"Dad, Nicholas is doing much better now. He even went to a motorbike race yesterday!" Henry quickly updated him.
Eleanor glared at her younger son again, clearly frustrated at how easily pleased he was.
"Nicholas is better? That's great! He should come back home. It's not right to leave him out in the North Suburbs like that
