"Go home first."
It took a while before Alexander Barron finally spoke, his voice low and tight like he was forcing it through clenched teeth.
William Frost picked up on something being seriously wrong. He hesitated for a second, then decided to speak up.
"Alex, calm down. This isn’t the time to lose your cool. James Carter? Not even worth it. Don’t get your hands dirty. Let me take care of it.”
"Go home," Alexander repeated coldly.
He didn’t even bother to look up, just sat there on the couch, back straight, eyes dark, the tension rolling off him like a storm. The rage boiling inside him was practically spilling into the air.
