Chapter 110
Cassian shot her a quick glance-she'd been zoning out ever since just now. He was about to say something when he saw her completely oblivious, stepping right onto a patch of black ice.
"Careful!" He rushed over, and the moment he spoke, she let out a startled yelp, sliding and falling straight toward him.
Sabrina slammed into his solid chest, her head spinning like crazy. Before she could even catch her balance, his annoyed voice rang out above her, "Did you leave your brain at home?"
Sabrina steadied herself with a sullen look, too lazy to toss back a remark. She turned to leave again, but just as she took a step, a sharp pain shot up from her ankle like a needle prick.
She sucked in a sharp breath. He caught that instantly and moved to support her. "You twisted it?"
"I'm fine." She shook off his hand coldly, completely ignoring him and walking off.
Cassian frowned. What the hell was her problem again? Nobody provoked her, but she was straight-up spitting fire like it was aimed right
