Chapter 169
The waves rustled as Sabrina collapsed onto the sand, fists clenched tight.
Cassian's expression was grim. He'd just dragged her out of the ocean, and the wound on his shoulder had split open again, blood slowly soaking through his shirt.
Without a word, he tossed a set of keys in front of her and said coldly, "There's a speedboat at the dock. Follow the auto-nav-you'll get to the mainland."
Sabrina stared at him, dazed. He added, "If you think I'm lying to you, I've got nothing else to say. Leave if you want."
Then he turned and walked toward the villa, not looking back.
Still kneeling on the sand, Sabrina grabbed the keys and looked at the speedboat tied near the shore in the dark. Standing up, she hurried toward it.
Meanwhile, Cassian sat on the bed back inside. A servant brought in a steaming clay pot. "Sir, the oatmeal is ready..."
Cassian shot her a cold glance. The servant hesitated, then said, "Madam, she..."
"Out," he cut her off, his voice icy.
The servant quickly backed out,
