Watching the woman charge at him all puffed up, Cassian looked amused, like someone playing with a pet. He had that half-smile tugging at his lips.
When Sabrina reached out, he chuckled softly, switched the gun to the other side, and all she touched was air.
After going at it a few times and still coming up empty-handed, Sabrina was out of breath and visibly annoyed.
Cassian glanced at her flustered face, letting out a light laugh. "Why? Can't admit you're a rookie?"
Clenching her teeth, Sabrina shot him a glare, eyeing the way he held that gun so smugly. "This isn't fair. You're taller-you're totally taking advantage of me!"
He raised his brows, swapped the gun to his injured left hand, and put his right hand behind his back. "What if I just use one hand and stand still? Fair enough now?"
