Seeing the worker looking all nervous and jumpy, Sabrina lifted her chin slightly and said, "As long as you promise every single word you just said is the truth, we won't hold you accountable for anything else."
"I swear it's all true! I swear on my entire family's life!" the worker quickly blurted out.
"Go clean up the stables. And don't tell anyone about this," Cassian instructed calmly.
"Yes, sir!" The worker looked like he'd just been granted a pardon and rushed off to work without another word.
Only Sabrina and Cassian remained with Skye. Sabrina gently stroked the horse's sleek neck, sighing, "Can't believe it's been through so much. We really dropped the ball here."
