Noah Hyde locked eyes with the girl, and yeah, you could totally see the shock on both their faces. The girl had already sat up, looking completely confused as she stared at Noah. It was obvious—she had absolutely no clue who he was. Noah, on the other hand, was just frozen there like a statue, eyes wide and unblinking, staring right back at her like his brain had just clocked out. But there was something in his eyes, something different from hers—he clearly knew who she was.
