Dylan Han paused for a second with his daughter in his arms.
“Mom, you’re still here?”
Lydia Ashford snapped, “This is my house—I’ll leave when I feel like it. But you? Coming and going as you please, do you think this place is a hotel?”
“I came to see my daughter. Isn’t that what you always wanted?”
That left Lydia momentarily speechless.
“She’ll be staying with me for a while. If you miss her, I’ll bring her back to visit.”
