After five years, Josephine returned to her homeland.
It was Eleanor's first time back, and she was excited throughout the journey.
When they got off the plane, she saw Josephine wearing a hat and mask and asked curiously, “Is it dangerous here, Mom? Can't we show our faces?”
As soon as she said it, she covered her face with both hands, leaving only her eyes exposed.
Josephine smiled and gently pulled her hands down. “No, it's safe here. You don't need to cover up.”
Truthfully, she wasn't sure if anyone could recognize her anymore. Covering her face was just a precaution—a way to avoid trouble.
But in reality, even covering up was unnecessary.
Her suitcase accidentally bumped into someone, and that person had a terrible temper. They immediately started yelling at her.
Josephine didn't want trouble, so she kept apologizing and offered compensation: “Let me transfer you some money. You should go get checked at the hospital first. If you need anything, contact me. I'll cooperate...”
