Everett’s POV
I stood there, eyes narrowing as I watched the car vanish into the night, the air around me growing heavy with tension.
Davis hurried over, speaking cautiously. “Mr. Robinson, should we send someone after Mrs. Robinson?”
“Have someone follow her,” I ordered, my tone as cold as ever. “Keep eyes on her around the clock. Don’t let her notice, and report anything unusual immediately.”
He gave a small nod. “Understood.”
I let out a long sigh, pinching the bridge of my nose before turning back toward the hotel.
As soon as I stepped into the private home, Robert was the first to rise, clearly surprised and pleased to see me.
“Mr. Robinson.” He quickly stepped forward to greet me.
After exchanging a few polite words with Robert, I sat back down in my original spot next to Amelia.
