Chapter 13

　　"Crash cart!" Liam barks. The room scuffles about as if Jane was the sickest patient in the entire institution. 　　Zchangnk! 　　The defibrillator presses against Jane’s lifeless body and zaps her, jangling her limbs uncontrollably. 　　“No response.” 　　"Again!" Liam roars thru his surgical mask. 　　“Nothing.” 　　"President Chu, the patient has lost a lot of blood. And she has advanced bone cancer, she has been refusing anesthetics for the past months” 　　“ …the body has reached it’s limit." 　　"Bone cancer?" 　　He stares at Jane's pale face and murmurs confusion. Liam’s face is distorted underneath all his clothing. His chest suddenly feels a sharp pain. Just now he heard her shout and cry about bone cancer, but he thought it was just her lying again, trying to rouse his sympathy by making up an incurable disease. 　　“Bone cancer?” 　　“Bone cancer? Its impossible! I’m her doctor. I wouldn’t have missed such a thing.”
