Chapter Ten

Leslie waited till it was Saturday evening before she decided to go back to the house and surprise Luke and his lover. She wasn’t sure how that would turn out but she had that weird feeling that it would blow up in her face. She wasn’t quite sure how she’d feel if she walked in on them having sex on the couch. She didn’t even want to think of it. With her, Luke was mechanical when they made love as though his muscles were tensed. But with Katie, she expected him to be all passionate and invested. However, Stephanie was a strong supporter, urging her to go and address athe elephant in the room. Thinking about it, Leslie felt she had to confront them. It would give her another type of closure—at least she hadn't walked away like a coward. She wasn’t going to do anything to fight or keep the marriage.
