Chapter Twenty-Four
Kyle went out jogging in the morning. He was feeling a little down, and whenever he felt that way, it always helped to run and shake off some of the negative energy.
He’d discovered the technique two years ago when Leslie ghosted him. Those had been the most hurtful days of his life, and he’d spent days in his room with no desire to go out or interact with others.
His friends had tried to get him back in the game. They would come to his room and try to drag him out, bring drinks, and, on some occasions, women. Nothing cheered him up, though.
However, one of his friends had introduced a way to manage his sadness and stress: jogging. At first, Kyle was hesitant because he didn’t see how jogging would make him feel better.
However, when he’d tried it, he’d found that it worked like a charm. Since then, he’d taken to the habit. He jogged when he wasn’t feeling right, and he jogged even more when he felt right.
