Chapter Thirty-eight
“What do you mean he wants to crash the wedding?!” Henry thundered as he bolted up from his couch and grabbed his keys.
“He told me about it,” Luke's elderly housekeeper replied. “I'd definitely love to see Miss Leslie again, but I don't want the boss to ruin her special day—she deserves better.”
Henry silently agreed as he pulled open his car door. “Is he still at home?”
“Yes, Mr. Martins, he's still getting ready to leave.”
“Good, do everything you can to delay him,” he said, starting up the car and using one hand to draw his seatbelt down. Don't let him leave.”
“Yes, sir.”
He dropped the phone without bothering to end the call, his wheels already on fire as he zoomed out of his driveway.
Luke had been going completely insane for a while, but he hadn't thought he'd take things as far as crashing his ex-wife’s wedding.
