He probably knew Clara wasn’t asleep, but he didn’t call her out on it.
Ethan quietly headed toward the shower.
Soon, the sound of running water echoed from the bathroom.
Only then did Clara let out a slow breath.
She really was worn out—physically and mentally. That tight string inside just wouldn't relax.
