But Ethan didn’t say a word, just quietly kept a steady distance behind their car.
He watched as the car finally pulled up in front of the hotel. Vincent got out and thoughtfully helped Clara out. The two of them walked in together, looking pretty damn close.
Clara even leaned against Vincent, laughing softly like she didn’t have a care in the world.
Every move they made bugged the hell out of Ethan—it was like getting scratched from the inside out.
This time, he didn’t hesitate. He parked the car and strode into the hotel.
After all, it was River City. Getting an access card for the elevator was no challenge for Ethan. He took the elevator straight up to the top floor suite.
