Truth be told, I’d been low-key worried the whole thing with Henry and me at Moonlight Salsa might come out. Not because of anything else, but those three women’s terrified reactions still haunted me. If Henry had pushed them into telling me the truth and they got into trouble because of it… that would’ve basically been me bringing disaster to them. But from how Jason Smith talked, it was obvious he didn’t know we’d been to Moonlight Salsa. That meant Henry hadn’t lied to them.
