Chapter 191 You Finally Came
Nancy arrived at the upscale restaurant and immediately spotted Sebastian by the floor-to-ceiling windows. Across from him, Sabrina swirled a glass of red wine, a teasing smile dancing on her lips.
"Just one phone call, and you're all riled up, yet you pretend it doesn't bother you?"
Sebastian ignored her, pouring himself another shot of strong liquor and downing it in one gulp. The burning liquid scorched his throat but did nothing to quell the restless turmoil inside. Would Nancy really come?
"Alright, I'm done being a third wheel," Sabrina said, glancing at her watch.
It was late. She stood, grabbed her purse, and gave him a playful pat on the shoulder.
"I've set up the meeting for you. The rest is up to you."
Her heels clicked across the floor, and her hips swayed gracefully as she left.
Gradually, the restaurant emptied, and the soft violin music came to a stop. Sebastian sat alone, drinking glass after glass. His glass emptied and refilled in a mindless cycle.
