Chapter 194 Someone Who Doesn't Matter
Sabrina glanced at Hansel's hand gripping Nancy's wrist, then looked up at Nancy with a mischievous glint in her eyes, as if watching a drama unfold.
She leaned close to Nancy's ear and whispered just loud enough for the two of them to hear. "Gum sticks the worst, you know. Best to peel it off cleanly."
Nancy caught her meaning instantly. A man like Hansel wouldn't stop unless she made it absolutely clear.
"Go ahead and wait for me inside," she said.
Sabrina nodded knowingly and headed toward their reserved room.
Only then did Nancy turn her gaze back to Hansel. Her eyes were icy cold. She tried to pull her hand free, but he held on tightly.
"We need to talk," Hansel pleaded.
Nancy frowned, then sighed and forced herself to stay composed.
"Fine. Over there," she said, tilting her chin toward a small open terrace nearby.
They walked out one after the other. The terrace was tastefully decorated, surrounded by greenery with a view overlooking the street below.
