It took Nancy an hour to return to Sullivan Manor. The place was already in chaos. A well-dressed middle-aged man stumbled and scrambled toward her the moment he saw her. It was Adrian. He was a mess of tears and snot. Gone was his usual calculating facade. All that remained was sheer terror. "Nancy! My dear Nancy! This has nothing to do with me! It was all Gabriella! I didn't know anything! You have to believe me!" He tried to grab her sleeve, but a freezing glare from her froze him in place. Nancy didn't bother to waste a single word on him. Someone like him wasn't even qualified to be her opponent. Watching him cry here was just a waste of her precious time. Her only goal right now was to find Randy. "Take him away," she ordered. The bodyguards behind her stepped forward immediately. They grabbed the wailing Adrian by the arms and dragged him away. With him gone, she could finally breathe in peace. Nancy strode straight toward the manor. "Where's Jonathan?" she asked.
