Chapter 60 Was Sebastian the One Who Sent Supper
After sending off the loud and restless Tina, Nancy finally got out of bed.
She rubbed her throbbing temples and slowly made her way downstairs.
The spacious living room was empty, with Sebastian nowhere to be seen.
He had pulled her out of that mess last night. No matter what, she owed him for that. At the very least, she needed to thank him. She couldn't be ungrateful.
As she was deep in thought, the faint sound of dishes clinking came from the dining room.
Martha set down the final dish of the carefully prepared breakfast.
Remembering the late-night snack from the other night, Nancy turned and walked over.
"Martha, thank you for the midnight snack the other night," Nancy said.
Martha looked puzzled at her words. "Ms. Sullivan, I never brought you a midnight snack."
She paused for a moment as if something had just come to mind. "Mr. Gates had the kitchen prepare some food that night. It was probably for you."
