Come to think of it, Luciano had changed over the years.

The club around him pulsed with neon lights, the thrum of bass-heavy music rattling the floor. Laughter echoed. Glasses clinked.
But none of it reached him. The vibrant scene might as well have been happening on another planet.
He didn’t belong in it—not anymore.
And yet, he had nowhere else to go.
