My soft and innocent voice came. Killian shook at my side with confusion as he turned to me. “Aveline, what are you doing?” I rolled my eyes, moving out of his hold and I bent down to support Jennifer in standing up. “Please, she is human too. No one deserves to suffer. I do not hold her responsible for trying to harm me at all. I know she acted irrationally, but she might have not done it in her right mind. I mean look at her state,” my voice shook tearfully as I muttered those last words. ‘I’m really an amazing actress. I deserve an Oscar award for this performance,’ I praised myself internally while putting on my feeble act. Jennifer stared at me in shock and confusion as she muttered underneath her breath. “You are not Leah,” Her voice was small, below a whisper, but I still heard it clearly although I pretended not to. I turned to face her slightly, “Did you say something?” I asked as she shook her head. If I were alone right now, my face would have split up into a beaming wide sm
