SIX MONTHS

My head felt heavy, and I opened my eyes to a soft touch on my fore head. One that felt unfamiliar and made me flinch. The blinding light from the ceiling made a groan slip out of my lips as my eyes adjusted to the light. And then, I recognized where exactly I was.
