Alejandro's Pov I can't decide which is more distressing: witnessing the cartel gradually engulf every aspect of her life, or witnessing her disappear right before my eyes. Each moment she spends in this world and each decision she makes pulls her further away from me; each decision is a further signpost for how my relationship with her may soon falter and wither away completely. Every step she takes puts further distance between us; every decision makes my grip weaken further with each moment spent away from me.
