CHAPTER 54  Lila I couldn't get up.  I was literally rooted to my chair as I watched Lily head up to the stage. Wasn't that supposed to be my name being called? Was this what she came to the party earlier to do?  “What's going on?” Hannah asked, going through her phone as she was checking through the entries.  “What the hell? Did you ask her to do this?” Lucien asked, giving me a worried look.  “The entries have been changed. Last minute. Lily Knight is there instead.” I could feel the tears pricking my eyes. Lucien's suit brushed against my skin as he stood up.  “I'm not going to just sit here and watch this happen.” He was already headed towards the stage before I could even comprehend what he was saying.  He grabbed a mic from the mic stand, as he faced the crowd.
