I stopped my feet from tapping against the feet of my car as I drove towards the office. The weekend was marvelous, just as I wanted it to be. Spending time with the kids was everything I could ask for. Olivia was there as usual, being the strong hold that I always knew I needed. But she wasn't going to be with me forever.
The thousand thoughts that were running through my mind couldn't be stopped though. The competition wa setting closer, and everything was supposed to be in place. I couldn't take a chance.
Just as I was about to park in my designated spot, my phone rang on the passenger seat, making me jump. I managed to calm down when I saw that it was just Hannah.
I answered the phone, pressing it to my ear. “Hello, Hannah. You don't have to worry, I'll be upstairs in a few minutes.”
She heaved a sigh of relief. “I'm glad I called you at this time time actually. The event is getting closer.”
