Chapter 9  Meeting Lila The next day, I woke up early enough to call the twins. I needed to make sure they were fine and everything was going on as planned. One thing they didn’t handle well was disruption of their schedules. Once I had done that, it was time to start my day. My assistant, Hannah had sent me the schedule of meetings and it shouldn’t have surprised me to see his name on the very first thing. I had a meeting with Lucien in two hours. Maybe If I had cared for him like before, I would have smiled at this effort but I found it annoying. He didn’t seem to be getting the message but that was all good. Revenge was much better when nobody saw it coming. I got ready, dressing up in something that wasn’t exactly very professional but subtle enough. I left my room for breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant and Hannah was already waiting for me, tablet in hand. “Hannah, it’s too early isn’t it?” I sighed, asking rhetorically. She covered her laugh but shrugged, “It’s my job ma’
