"You are getting old. It's foolish to commit suicide simply because an old man blackmailed you!" Hayden's stern tone eased slightly.
"People change when they grow older. When I first met your mom, I wronged her in many ways; but then again, I was quite frustrated as well, because my so-called mother liked Avery."
