Chapter 26 The Truth unfold
My stomach dropped and I quickly covered my mouth to suppress my gasp from escaping. I was speechless. From the day I entered this college, my turned 360 degrees. My mind was reeling, unable to understand or process my epiphany.
My mouth opened and closed like a fish without forming a coherent response. But I didn't have to worry, because Gabriel beat me to it.
"I won't let that happen," he stepped forward, his dark eyes drilling into mine. “I swear on my life that no harm will come to you.”
I stared at him and lost myself in his warm eyes.
Tears began to form in my eyes.
“But we rejected each other… Even if they find out about it, we aren’t mates anymore…”
"I love you. You've been suppressed for so long." He approached me and cupped my face. "I never said no to you."
