James' POV
After Catherine got out of the car, I hit the steering wheel angrily.
Again, I decided to try the silent treatment that Lucas said. No, to be precise, I wouldn't always appear by her side.
Perhaps if there was a certain distance between us, the relationship between her and I would ease instead.
I couldn't get too close to her, because I failed to control my desire for possession.
So the best way was that I forced myself not to approach her.
I hadn't seen the kids for a long time, maybe I should see them more.
I sent a message to Catherine to ask for her opinion if I could take the kids out for two days.
While waiting for her reply, I drove to school. It happened that the class was over.
"James?" Adela must miss me. She was the first to run toward me. I crouched down and opened my arms. She threw herself into my arms and hugged my neck. "It's been a long time.
