Penelope spoke to Gavin in her soft, childish voice, telling him everything in detail.
At the dining table, Gavin frowned. "Jessica, go get Chantelle for dinner."
Jessica frowned. "Since when do guests need to be called down to eat at the host's house?"
Gavin looked at Jessica, his eyes already full of displeasure. He wondered if he had been too lenient with her just because she treated Penelope well. She was just a nanny, yet she acted as if she could run the entire household.
Giselle noticed the look on Gavin's face.
It wasn't until he frowned that she realized he was upset—probably because of what Jessica had said about Chantelle.
Giselle shot Jessica a glance, and only then did Jessica reluctantly wipe her hands on her apron and go upstairs to call her.
Less than two minutes later, Jessica returned. "Ms. Whitman said she doesn't want to eat right now. Please, Mr. Farrell, Mrs. Farrell, and Ms. Farrell, go ahead and eat first."
