Arnaud said, "We're not doing anything tonight. Let's just sleep." ... Sylvia thought that being in a new place would keep her tossing and turning all night, but Arnaud's bed was just too comfortable. Her little rental mattress couldn't even compare. She hadn't been lying down for long before she drifted off and even had a dream. At first, the dream was a blur. Then, the scene suddenly shifted. She and Margot were taking driving lessons together. With the second part of the test coming up, she grew anxious to get more practice behind the wheel. But the instructor's behavior was baffling. Every time she reached for the gearshift, he'd push her hand away. Then, she'd grab it again, and he'd push it off again. Sylvia was ready to explode when she jolted awake! As she blinked at the unfamiliar ceiling, she froze. Then, a few seconds passed before she remembered that she'd moved into Arnaud's villa.
