A sudden ringtone jolted Cody awake. When he saw it was Yvette's phone ringing, his first instinct was to silence it and go back to sleep. But just as he reached for her phone, a new message popped up from a contact saved as "Ashley". Cody unlocked the phone without thinking. He knew her passcode—it was his birthday.
