Cullen's remark was vague, but I didn't say anything, knowing that he wasn't finished.
Cullen said, "My brother made the decision, and none of the directors had the grounds to interfere. After all, it's just a simple logistics project.
"If you want it, you'll need his approval."
After he said that, Quinn frowned and asked, "Is there nothing you can do?"
Cullen quickly replied, "Nothing much. My brother is talented and has way more influence than I do."
The words might not mean much on the surface, but I couldn't help but perk up. Within those words, I heard resentment.
Cullen was the older brother. There was no way he'd be fine with his younger sibling holding all the power.
