It was unclear how long it took him to finally accept this reality.
His face felt as though it had been slapped hard, which was extremely ironic.
Just then, Julie had packed her belongings and bowed respectfully to Lawrence.
“Mr. Rodriguez, I’ve said all I can say. Cynthia isn’t a good woman. You’ve wronged such a good woman as Mrs. Amity, yet you still don’t trust her. You’ll regret it someday.”
“Regardless of how you plan to treat Cynthia in the future, these things have nothing to do with me. I hope you will forgive me for being too talkative this time because of the time I served you in the past. I have already told your mother about resigning. I will not serve you after today. I hope you can find a suitable nanny as soon as possible.”
After speaking, Julie left without a single glance back, carrying her luggage away.
She was getting old, and she had stayed here to continue caring for Lawrence and Amity out of consideration for their past friendship and Amity’s kindness.
