Mia pov This is the first time I wasn't beaten after been sent out of the house and I returned Back home and still, they didn't flog the hell out of me. Other days, I'd be beaten before being allowed to step inside the house. Maybe today is just my lucky day because, this is equally the first time am going out with my dad. Dad have never allowed me to out with them when They're all going for shopping. I'll be at home doing all of the s chores while Rukky gets to enjoy and wear beautiful dresses while, I'm left to wear rags. Dad never cares to ever ask me of m well being or if I'm in need of anything. #Flash Back When I began seeing my monthly flow at age 14, I'd remembered running to my stepmother that faithful afternoon. All she could do was yell at me and didn't explain all I needed to know about it. She sent me on an errand even though she knew I was gonna get stained and be mocked by my Age groups. The blue gown I wore, Stain beyond Recognition at my butt and I was suddenly called by a Lady Who was walking behind me. "Hey Little girl, How are you"She called making me halt my movement. "I'm fine thanks."I replied a little curious on why she stopped me. "Seems you're on your monthly flow dear and your gown is all stained up."The lady said making me wonder what she meant with "Monthly Flow". "I..I really don't get what you mean ma. I just saw myself bleeding earlier this morning and my stepmother, didn't tell me what's making me bleed."I said and the shock in her face was so obvious. "Gosh! How could she do this to you? sending you on an errand without teaching you how to dress yourself up."The lady lamented. I signed without saying a word. "Dear, my house is just around the corner. Can you come with me let me get you pads and teach you how to always dress yourself once your Monthly flow comes each month?"She asks. I felt so reluctant since I never really know her but, I saw she's really trying to help in the little way she could And without another thought, I went with her. I remembered being flogged that night by my stepmother for allowing a stranger do that to me. She felt I was the one who approached the lady for help. #End of flashback Am happy and also curious on where my dad is taking me. He paid off the cab man who drove us to our destination. "Dad, where's this place?"I asked when he rang the bell outside the big building. "Just keep shut!"he ordered and i kept shut not wanting to infuriate him. The gate pulled opened and two hefty guys stepped out. They're so huge and tall making me look like an ant before them. "Josh, you're finally here? Lord Bryan has been waiting" one of them spoke out while cross checking me from my head to my toes, making me cringe. "Am truly sorry for the delay" dad apologized and I was kinda surprised. *Where the hell is this place?* "Come with me"the other huge guy ordered and dad trailed behind him after gesturing me to follow suit which I did. After walking for sometime with me staring around the Exquisite building, we eventually came to a halt at a door. "Wait here, I'd go inform him you're here"the helfty guy ordered and my dad muttered an "okay" before he opened the door and walked inside. I kept stealing glances at the building. The house is so well decorated and it only screams alot of money. If I had an opportunity, I wouldn't want to leave this place. I giggled at my thoughts still lost at the beauty of the house. "You can go in,now" the guy's voice jolted me out of my thought. "Mia, come on" dad urged and walked in with me closely behind him. I became literally blind the moment I stepped inside the room. I couldn't see a thing, the blue light was so dimmed and I had to stray my eyes before I could adjust to the atmosphere of the room. "Wow.."It escaped my lips before I could held it in. The room was glittering in Golds and I immediately wish to see the occupant of the room. "Dad, whose room is this?"I asked my dad who's mouth was widely agape as he stares round the room. Probably, he hasn't been inside this room. I didn't get a respond from him so, I decided to keep shut and enjoy the view while it lasts. "My lord!" I heard dad called and I turned to the direction, making my blue eyes meet an hazel eyes and my mouth opened on its own accord. Rukky's Pov "Mom, don't you dare tell me that. I need her back here" I fumed as I stood behind her at the kitchen. "It's for the best, baby. At least, we're Free from her troubles" mom uttered not sparing me a glance. "I don't need those chit chats, mom. Who's gonna be doing the house chores, huh? Don't ever think I'd touch those filthy things"I scoffed angrily and she finally gave me her full attention. "Of course you aren't gonna do the chores, am here for you." She smiled. I scoffed and walked angrily to my room not buying her words. I need Mia to do them, not her! How can they do this to me? How can they conspired against me by giving Mia to a rich man while am here... Gosh! Am going insane right now. I can't let this happen, this is a big slap to my pretty face. I'd have to do something about it, all I need is a good plan and boom, I've taken over. Laughs... "Enjoy while it lasts, Mia Donald." I smirked evilly, as I stared at the only picture we both took together while we were kids.
