Five hours later, Yvette stepped out of the lab, followed closely by a beaming Michael.
"This is fantastic! Yvie, we finally cracked the molecular structure of the compound. This is a major breakthrough!"
Watching his excitement, Yvette didn't respond. She only let out a silent sigh in her heart.
